I’M SPEAKING, PLAYING AND WRITING MY JAZZ
I Am A harpist making love to my strings of soul, and with my voice I’m caressing a microphone in my hand and with my finger I make ink reach out and touch secret places
I speak, and write and play my Jazz
I ornate verbalism` in the key of mental jams
My jazz holds all the notes in time from my past, present, and future
I’ll sing to you lyrics from stories untold
I’ve got the Romantic Blues
So I strum my soul in free form style
My jazz can be deep blue with lost loves, emptiness, sadness and, contempt

My jazz can be sky blue with the pleasures of love, knowledge, and places
I’ve seen dreams come true
Everyday a new note I find to scale an old or new challenge
My jazz is pure, simple & naked for all to see and hear all the notes of my jazz
I’m spinning for you to rewind me, or fast forward me to the next introspective thought, but please don’t eject me, before I inject into you flowing verbs
There’s a part of me you’re gonna wanna to groove too
Let your ears hear me hit that low note
It’s just soul
I hit long waving high notes
I make it funky, as I take you to the end of my symphony
As I speak and write and play my jazz
