hahaha... no I don't wear contacts. I don't even wear glasses. I think that may just be the photo. I know I don't have Syphillis.. that's for sure. I'm not sure about my ancestors. Maybe someone did. You have me curious though. I need to check into that.

Separate question--do you wear contacts? I see two black dots at the base of each eye that I'm curious about. One of my cousins was told hers were due to some distant ancestor in the Renaissance having had syphillis--a genetic marker. Nothing that means any active infection.

So I'm wondering if those black dots are just some photographic thing or not.
