Poetry reading can be an appealing way to introduce subjects into daily conversation that may otherwise never be discussed. Plain as Sand, written by me (Jessica LaGuerre), is a hardcover book filled with over 100 rhyming poems. Many topics touched upon include: romance, relationship woes, child rearing, workplace challenges, economic hardship and a whole host of others. It is my hope that people will be inspired to begin dialogue about important and potentially difficult subjects. Thus, we can learn from the opinions and experiences of each other (each one teach one).
