This is an interesting and challenging process to try to connect with a publisher that fits the needs of the authors that I am working with. When googling "publishers" a variety of links pop up but are not what we are looking for. Others links are no longer good and then there are those that do not return emails or phone messages.

I have 3 authors looking for a hungry, go getter publisher that does a professional/ top notch job...do you know someone I should call?

Hi S.E. Koshi,

As a follow up to my last e-mail and since you are in the information-gathering stage, I wanted to provide you with 4 things that really separate us from the competition.

(1) Royalties – You make 35% for sales on Amazon.com. For a 5 by 8, 200 page book you could use a price as low as $13.99 and in this case you would make $4.90 per sale. In my experience very few companies can match this royalty rate for Amazon.com sales, which is where the vast majority of online book buyers go to purchase books.

(2) Wholesale Pricing – I ran these numbers based on the sample book mentioned above and you would pay $3.50 per book for 51+ books! Of course, you are not obligated to buy books, but most authors do want some to send out...

(3) Book Design – Many companies have quality cover design programs, but we take the same amount of care in laying out the interior of the book so that you have a complete product where the cover and interior complement one other. **Also note that what we create is customized for you and NOT template driven. You will find this to be the case with our competitors.

Here is an in-depth interactive link to how Total Design Freedom works with examples of cover and interior book designs:

(4) Onsite printing facility for exceptional quality control – Not only do we provide exceptional quality to our authors, but we also print books for major publishing houses, libraries, and university presses. Click here to read about a few of the publishers that trust and rely on BookSurge for their printing needs —including quotes from the president of Harper Collins and McGraw Hill. http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=176060&p=irol-newsA...

S.E. Koshi, I look forward to the possibility of partnering together to bring your book to market!

Best regards,
